It describes how the Ottoman Turks, a small band of nomadic soldiers, managed to expand their dominions from a small principality in northwestern Anatolia on the borders of the Byzantine Empire into one of the great empires of fifteenth- and sixteenth-century Europe and Asia, extending from northern Hungary to southern Arabia and from the Crimea across North Africa almost to the Atlantic Ocean.

- 0歳の息子が三浦太郎さんの本が大好きなので購入しました。絵もはっきりあざやかな色で赤ちゃんの興味を引きやすいのかもしれませんね。絵本は好みがあるのでなんとも言えませんが・・・。

- タイトルに惹かれて購入。内容的には よくわからないお話なのですが、読み聞かせでは、「パクリペロリ」と声をそろえて言ったり、エクササイズする場面は 子供たちは大好きです。
